The 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards aired last night. The annual awards show celebrates TV and movies and is often an emotional night for the actors because the awards are voted on by their peers.
Everything Everywhere All At Once walked away with so many deserved awards, including ones for Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, and Jamie Lee Curtis. Meanwhile, on the TV side, Abbott Elementary and The White Lotus won big too.
While watching everyone’s acceptances speeches is always a highlight of the SAG Awards, this year everyone couldn’t stop talking about some of the amazing presenter pairings.
Like, the night literally kicked off with Paul Mescal and Zendaya together, there was a Parks and Rec reunion between Amy Poehler and Adam Scott, and many more.
But, one SAG presenter duo in particular stole the whole event, and that was Jenna Ortega and Aubrey Plaza.
The perfect broody pairing, Jenna and Aubrey presented the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series, and hilariously joked about not knowing why they were paired together.
