The Curious Case of a Disappearing Chinki in Lage Raho Munna Bhai:

In Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., we see a blossoming romance between Munna and his childhood friend, Chinki. However, while in its follow up movie, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, we do see the same eponymous lead character Munna Bhai and his sidekick, Circuit, and their profession remains the same, as do many of their tactics, there is absolutely no mention of Chinki or their relationship. Instead, Munna is shown as having a brand new love interest in Vidya Balan’s character. So here’s my question, WHERE DID CHINKI GO??

In Bramhastra : Part One – Shiva, Shiva’s friends don’t contact him even once to ask where he is, when he randomly goes off to save the universe:

Also, when Shiva legitimately faints, all his friends can think of asking him is, “Aise kaise behosh ho gaya?”. Oh and when he gives a ludicrously evasive response, they just laugh. And that was that…

Mamta from Hum Saath – Saath Hai trusting her three toxic friends more than the kid she raised:

Vivek is, for all intents and purposes, Mamta’s son, and she’s raised him since he was a baby. Yet, she allowed herself to be swayed by her friends who clearly had no well-intentioned or valuable inputs from the very beginning, and completely ignored the fact that HER KID IS A NICE GUY. Make it make sense!

Rahul not recognising his brother only because he lost weight and was hit by puberty in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham:

I mean, seriously, why? It didn’t do anything for the plot or for any of the other characters. In fact, Sweety (played by Rimi Sen) doesn’t even appear once in the rest of the film.

Tina leaving an incredibly huge, close to impossible responsibility up to her 8-year-old daughter in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai:

This would have been too much pressure for me — a 24-year-old adult — let alone a child! Also, if Tina knew that adult Anjali is Rahul’s one true love, WHY DID SHE GET MARRIED TO HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE??

In Mujhse Dosti Karoge, Pooja refusing to tell Tina the truth in order to spare her feelings, despite already doing something that would anyway hurt her feelings:

Pooja (Rani Mukerji) knew exactly how Tina (Kareena Kapoor Khan) felt about Raj (Hrithik Roshan) and STILL went for it. And then she spent weeks in denial in order to “protect her best friend from further pain”. Also, not to mention, Pooja bamboozled Raj for YEARS by writing letters to him on Tina’s behalf, knowing full well that he liked her (Tina). So, I’m sorry but Pooja is nowhere near being the great friend she thinks she is.

There’s not much to say here honestly…there’s just a “Mehendi with Karan” segment in this movie where he does exactly what he does on his show Koffee With Karan for no apparent reason, except that he’s Karan Johar.
